Introduction To The Portfolio

People are aware of their own sex and what defines them as being that sex. Most people have their own definition of what it means to be a man or woman, but the thing is, the only thing that defines sex is genetics. We all know what men and women have, but some people go as far as defining sex by what someone does and how they act. Some think a man is someone who is strong, supportive, successful, and intelligent. Some think a woman is someone who is fragile, beautiful, good around the house, and there to serve her man. But these gender roles shouldn't define us and how we look at each other. A woman can be strong supportive and successful and a man can be fragile, beautiful, good around the house, and there to serve his woman. We don't have to stay stuck in the stereotypes society and culture give us, we can change what we believe, and hopefully what others believe as well. Gender does not define who we are, it just defines what we are.
